The concerns regarding the CASE project come mainly from a lack of negotiation in three aspects.

1) PLANNING: The project was set down in an atmosphere of urgency in which the need has been set to a choice that, although legitimate as a tool to help the population local concerns in fact the construction of only condominium buildings, and it seems mostly encouraging outside investors.

2) LOCATION: In many cases the areas identified are too distant from the city, and the suspect that - by the choices that did not address the difference between areas urban and rural areas of the town of L'Aquila - representing an interest has passed the defense of patronage as much land as the population (in too many cases concerning the expropriation rural land cultivated by small producers, where they will be seeded condominiums scenically inadequate and thus alienating both for people of countries for the inhabitants of the city, which in many cases will be forced to move to those places).

On these two points would be appropriate to rethink the CASE project through a review of the following location criteria EXTREMELY CLOSE TO 'BELT OF THE URBAN PERIPHERY within a design that is integrated and unified, and providing for rural areas intracomunali MAP plan (already in force in rural communities of the crater). This is a new town to avoid dis-integrated at the edge of the municipality is the disfigurement of the countryside with intra-municipal architecture urban connotations.

3) time: In addition to this we can not fail to note another side effect of this plan: the decision to focus on reconstruction during the emergency is already leading to a long stay in tents and a location on the coast, which is likely to continue and expand in view of the cold and the closure of tent camps.

On this point it seems reasonable to hope for other options, given that the use of modern container would be mitigated the discomfort of the tents that facilitated a revival of the local economy.
